MUSIS project aims to build a new communication system able to integrate sensors that can interact in an unspecified environment. Sensors are connected to the communication environment by using specialized device drivers that plug information in exchange for weak requirements. This way it is possible to acquire data from independent sensors being able to retrieve a combined information without the burden of hardware synchronization.
