Luca Bossi
Founder, main advisor for practical integration and sensors design. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Information Engineering (University of Florence) and a school teacher. He deals with ground penetrating microwave RADAR sensors. He works in an international research group for the development of a robotic system for mine clearance for humanitarian purposes. Published more than 6 journal articles and 19 conference proceedings. His main interests are in the field of microwave RADARs and electronics applied to humanitarian issues.
Lorenzo Capineri
Founder, main advisor for scientific contents and relationships with institutions. His current research activities are in the design of ultrasonic guided waves devices, buried objects detection with ground penetrating radar and holographic radar. He has worked on several research projects in collaboration with national and international industries and research institutions. He is coauthor of 7 Italian patents and coauthor of 4 book chapters and about 300 peer-reviewed scientific and technical papers. He is IEEE senior member since 2007 and member since 1983 and vice-president of the IEEE Italy Sensors Chapter. Co-chair of IWAGPR2015 conference and member of scientific and technical committee of GPR, PIERS and IWAGPR conferences.
Pierluigi Falorni
Founder, main advisor for communication environment and combined sensors technology. Pierluigi Falorni works and study in the field of humanitarian demining since its master thesis on 2000. He published several papers in the field and held collaborations like CNR, University of Florence and NATO. Main scientific interests are related to the processing of the output of devices such as GPR and microwave holography systems. Collaborated with CNR (the national council of research) in the field of chlorophyll characterization by means of signal processing of satellite measurements in the oxygen lines range. Published more than 24 papers on international scientific journals and conference proceedings.
Giulia Capanni
Research fellow at the Department of Information Engineering, where she is responsible for the managerial aspects of MUSIS project. She graduated in Management Engineering in 2024 from the University of Florence.
